It has been a long time since I have read a book about the revolutionary war and this was a really informative and fun book to read. The only thing I wish it had was a couple of simple clear maps that showed some of the marches and battle locations etc that I could have referred to while reading it.

At times reading the quotes from the letters and diaries of the participants was tough since their syntax and grammar etc were so much different back then.

This one was probably closer to a 3.5 stars but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Overall it was a fun easy read that kept me entertained on my lunch hours. Nice action and the plot moved along pretty well. Just a few twists and turns that kept you wondering until the end.
