Fairy Tale by Stephen King

Fairy Tale by Stephen King

This was a SLOW Young adult teen themed book. Parts were interesting and parts were not. this is the first time in awhile that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed a Stephen King book.

This book felt really SLOW. The premise of it is pretty good but wow, it took forever for things to happen. It is also setting up everything for the next book in the series. I am not sure when or if I will get to the next one in this series.

I wasn't quiet sure what I was expecting from this one. It felt like a bunch of short stories that were sort of tied together. It kept me entertained on my walks but that was about it.

Not bad of an introduction to the series. It just seemed to take a long time to get rolling. I am sure at some point I will read the next one in the series.

Book Review of "Of Blood and Bone" by Nora Roberts

Of Blood and Bone by Nora Roberts
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a nice solid follow up to the first book. The One completes her training and then heads home to finally get ready for her quest. At times it got a little slow but the ending was pretty good. Overall I liked it.

My wife recommended this to me and I decided to give it a try. . It is a cool story about a pandemic of some sort that wipes out almost 2/3 of the globe and releases magical abilities for certain people who use it for good or evil. It was a fun read that I thoroughly enjoyed. Once I read some of the other books I have stacked up I will read the next one in this series

Just a new author that I have never tried that I had on my kindle. An interesting start to what is apparently a series. After I read some other stuff I will probably come back and read some more of this series.

This was something my wife picked up for me as a Father’s Day gift for the beach. It was a fun easy read and I might search out the next one in the series in the future.
