Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Red Rising by Pierce Brown
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book felt really SLOW. The premise of it is pretty good but wow, it took forever for things to happen. It is also setting up everything for the next book in the series. I am not sure when or if I will get to the next one in this series.

This one seemed to drag a little more than the other books in this series. It kept me entertained and that is all I ever really ask for a in book.

I wasn't quiet sure what I was expecting from this one. It felt like a bunch of short stories that were sort of tied together. It kept me entertained on my walks but that was about it.

Another fun adventure in the Scot Harvath universe. It was kind of cool to see the action in India instead of some of the more common countries that get used for action/adventure books.

The Greatest Beer Run Ever by John Chick Donohue

The Greatest Beer Run Ever [Movie Tie-In]: A Memoir of Friendship, Loyalty, and War by John Chick Donohue
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is actually closer to 4.5 stars. I have seen the short summaries about this famous beer run on social media but to read the story from the guy that made the run was a lot of fun. I had no clue he got stuck over there for a few months.
